Speak it loud

The next time you start learning from your notes, read them out loud.

Studies have shown that speaking and hearing the words will actually help to store the information more effectively. This would allow for a better recall during those all important exams.

You will be surprised on how much information you can retain just be reading your study materials out loud!

2. Meditate your way to bliss.

I simply can’t describe all the awesome benefits of meditation. Studies have shown that the students who meditated regularly had better concentration, reduced stress levels and overall good grades.

So meditate your way to better marks and less amount of stress.

Ever had those moments when you had the urge to stay up all night, mug it all up and just explode it all out the next day? Well you might want to control that urge now as some studies have shown that staying up all night can hinder your exam performance.

It’s essential to have some good Zzz’s to be at your peak. So manage your time and get 8 hours of sleep before the important exam and achieve those good grades!

I hope this one will make you happy 😀

Studies have shown that the human mind can focus on a task for maximum of 45 minutes. After that whatever you study will feel like a burden and take much more time to memorize.

What if I tell you that you don’t need to focus on your studies for the whole 45 minutes on a stretch. Instead study for 25 minutes and then take a break of 5 minutes. This technique is known as the Pomodoro Technique

The pomodoro technique has received a lot of appreciation for its ease of use. Try it out yourself and move one step forward to good grades.

5. Draw it.

draw it

Learnt a new concept? Great! Now try drawing it on a piece of paper.

Visualize all the elements that were present in the concept and let your inner Picasso take over.

Drawing out stuff or diagrams can help to strengthen the concept that you have learnt. Vibrant images are the best!

6. Take a stroll before the exam.

go for a stroll

A research done by Dr. Chuck Hillman of University of Illinois, it was found that the students who had a brisk walk just before their exams did comparatively well as compared to the other students who just sat quietly.

So for good grades, work yourself up, go for a brisk walk just before your exam and see the magic!

7. Chew that gum!chew that gum

Studies have shown that chewing gum can actually improve your concentration! So pop up a gum the next time you pick up a difficult topic and pave your way to achieve good grades!

Follow these tips, work hard, study smartly and rest assured that in the next big exam you’ll come out with flying colors.
